Cursor Automations: /automate, cron, MEMORIES.md, PR/Slack tools
WhenUse after the skill is trusted and a trigger (cron, PR, Slack) should fire it.
StopNever enable Send to Slack / Comment on PR without a quality bar for when to do nothing. Cron defaults to no repo — pick the repo if it should edit code.
Steps
- Choose a trigger (hourly, cron, PR opened, Slack message, Linear, PagerDuty, webhook, …).
- Write a prompt (same bar as a cloud agent run).
- Enable tools: Comment on PR, Send to Slack, Request reviewers, MCP, Memories, Computer use.
- Choose repos: none / one / multi-repo environment. Cron and Slack default to no repo — if the agent should edit code, pick the repo explicitly.
- Save and activate.
Loadcursor.com/automations or /automate. Named tools. MEMORIES.md optional.
