## When
Use when commits can auto-draft but production deploy must only run on /prod-deploy.

## Stop
Never auto-invoke the deploy skill. Never deploy without the slash. Commit-helper drafts the message; human commits if policy says so.

## Steps
1. Read the diff to understand the change and its intent.
2. Walk the checklist in [references/checklist.md](references/checklist.md).
3. Group feedback by severity and explain the why, not just the what.
